Performances
Semester Recitals
Students perform one or more pieces to showcase the semester's progress. These recitals are open to all students in private lessons. Participation is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. Each fall students will perform pieces from holiday or classical repertoire. Each spring students will perform pieces from classical or popular repertoire.
Group Classes
One week out of each semester, group classes are held in place of private lessons. At Plyler Piano Studio, we believe it's important students learn to be comfortable in an ensemble setting as well as playing solo. Students are divided into groups based on age and skill level.
Spring Festival
The piano festival is sponsored by the Greenville Music Teacher's Association. Students have the opportunity to perform for a judge and receive instructional feedback. No additional audience is permitted for this event. Participation is by invitation only.
WGMTA Recital
The local branch of the Music Teachers Association sponsors a recital every year. Performers are comprised of the top students in each GMTA member's studio. Participation is by invitation only.
